You came to GETCH with a great dream. You said to yourself you will be a great man in the future. It’s the first step you came into GETCH and the dream became more clearly when you graduated. It’s the harvest season!

On June 29th, 2013, GETCH had the 17th graduation ceremony. We were very pleased to invite Mr. Morgan, the Consul General of British Consulate General in Guangzhou, leaders from W Hotel, Unitegroup, Crowne Plaza Hotels, and other friends who have been supporting GETCH.

First, principal Hu of GETCH gave a speech and expressed congratulation to the graduates and showed the respect and gratitude to staff and all the people who supported and helped GETCH. She hopes all graduate can have a happy life and achieve their goals and dreams. As she said: GETCH gives you strength to compete and you still need to keep on fighting.

Then the representative of graduates from grade’10, Phoebe Zhang, delivered a speech, expressing the feeling of leaving school. First of all, she showed her gratitude to principal and teachers’ care and encouragement. She loved this school where she felt love and kind. Joanna Luo, from grade’11, the representative of all students at school, also said her feeling of getting along with grade’10 students and sent her best wishes to them. Then our foreign teacher Marie-Ana Follett told us that that day was a special day for her because it also means the ending of being a teacher in GETCH for her. She showed her memory of these two years and it was full of happiness. She said she won’t forget all the experience and will keep it as the most valuable memory in her life. After that, many guests also showed their best wishes to our graduates and hoped they would have a good future.

Next Principal Hu awarded the certificate of graduation for the seventeen graduates. Meanwhile, their relatives went to stage and took photos with them. Scholarship and other prizes got by the graduates were also in the schedule during the ceremony. Our school also prepared gifts for them and grade’12 students sent flowers made by themselves to the graduates and hoped they can come back to school often. Graduates also sent their great gifts to school and thanked the cultivation and caring from school.
